Find Portugal
This document sets out the terms and conditions governing the use of the Find Portugal website (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”). Access to and navigation of this Site imply full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms of Use.
1. General Information
Find Portugal is an independent editorial platform dedicated to the curation, presentation and critical reflection of places, experiences, culture, gastronomy, tourism, people and ideas in Portugal, through content published in both digital and print formats.
2. Editorial Content, Collaborations and Sponsored Content
The content published on Find Portugal includes articles, features, interviews, essays, photographs, videos and other editorial formats, produced and signed by a range of editors, contributors and guest authors.
The opinions expressed in editorial content are the sole responsibility of their respective authors and reflect their personal, free and independent viewpoints. Find Portugal does not necessarily endorse or identify with the opinions, judgements or interpretations expressed by its editors or contributors.
Some content published on the Site may have a commercial purpose, result from editorial partnerships, branded content initiatives or take the form of sponsored articles. Whenever this is the case, such content is clearly and transparently identified, in accordance with best editorial and advertising practices.
The existence of sponsored or commercial content does not compromise Find Portugal’s editorial line, which is founded on principles of discernment, curation, independence and editorial integrity.
3. Copyright, Intellectual Property and Use of Content
Original content produced by Find Portugal, including texts, articles, titles, editorial selection, curatorship, visual identity, design, layout and the Find Portugal brand, is the property of Find Portugal and/or its authors and is protected by copyright and other applicable legislation.
The reproduction, copying, transcription, adaptation, modification, distribution, republication or use, in whole or in part, of Find Portugal’s original editorial content, in any medium or format, is strictly prohibited without prior, express and written authorisation.
Without prejudice to the above, the Site may include images, videos or other materials belonging to third parties, used within the editorial context of Find Portugal, namely content made publicly available by brands, entities, institutions, partners or authors, including materials sourced from official websites, press kits, digital platforms and social media.
The use of such third-party content is carried out in editorial good faith, on the assumption that it has been made available with authorisation for communication or promotional purposes. Whenever possible, Find Portugal identifies the relevant source or author.
If any rights holder considers that content has been used improperly, they should contact Find Portugal, which undertakes to review the situation and, where appropriate, correct the credit or remove the content as promptly as possible.
The protection of Find Portugal’s copyright does not prejudice the legitimate rights of third parties over their respective content.
4. Information Updates
The content of the Site may be amended, updated or removed at any time without prior notice. Information such as opening hours, prices, services, locations or access conditions relating to venues, brands or experiences may change independently of Find Portugal.
Users are advised to verify practical information directly with the entities concerned before making decisions based on content published on the Site.
5. External Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. Find Portugal has no control over such websites and accepts no responsibility for their content, privacy policies or practices.
The inclusion of external links does not imply, unless expressly stated, any form of endorsement, partnership or automatic recommendation by Find Portugal.
6. Use of the Site
Users undertake to use the Site in a responsible and lawful manner, in compliance with applicable legislation, and to refrain from any abusive, unlawful or harmful use that may affect the operation of the Site, its content or the rights of third parties.
Any attempt at unauthorised access, automated data collection, content scraping or use of the Site for fraudulent or unlawful purposes is strictly prohibited.
7. Limitation of Liability
Find Portugal does not guarantee that the Site will operate uninterruptedly, error-free or without technical faults, nor that it will be free from viruses or other harmful components.
Find Portugal shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, losses or harm resulting from access to, or use of, the information made available on the Site.
